At Salone del Mobile in Milan, String Furniture will showcase three newly added products to its iconic collection of shelves and shelving systems. In conjunction with the String shelving systems 70th anniversary, a new colour is being added: Beige, and together with designers Anna von Schewen and Björn Dahlström, String is launching a galvanized version suitable for outdoor use. Additionally, String Pocket will be offered in the newly added colour Blush.
“We looked at a number of beige nuances, and in the end, we went with this particular beige tone. It is an attractive, classic shade of beige, which in its timelessness will be an excellent complement to the other colours in the String System”, says Lotta Agaton, stylist and creative advisor to String.
In collaboration with designers Anna von Schewen and Björn Dahlström, String Furniture has developed a version of the String shelving system, suitable for outdoor use. The new galvanized version of the shelving system is comprised of two different materials that makes it durable and perfect for outdoor use. The iconic panels create an elegant yet functional outdoor storage unit. Both the shelves and floor panels are produced in southern Sweden, as are all the other products in the String product range.
Now, String Furniture, in collaboration with stylist Lotta Agaton, has developed a warm, classic blush hue that is an excellent complement to the other colours and finishes in the palette.
“Blush is leaning towards the warm colour scale and is a perfect match to the other colours in the String Pocket collection. For instance, it works extremely well with the Sand and our wood finishes”, says Peter Erlandsson, co-owner of String Furniture.
