Vollebak use science and technology to make the future of clothing happen faster. In every industry there’s someone building the future, whether it’s technology, architecture, food, cars or space rockets. In clothing it’s Vollebak.
Founded by twin brothers, designers and athletes Nick & Steve Tidball, they use science and technology to create clothing that no one else can or will – clothes from the future.
They have crafted stab proof puffa jackets using the only material in the world with a Nobel prize, released a 100 year clothing designed to outlive you, a plant and algae tee shirt grown in forests and a black squid jacket which mimics the adaptive camouflage of the squid reflecting every colour in the visible spectrum.
In today’s unforeseen climate however the product that really jumps out at us is their Isolation hoodie. Designed to help you chill out and create space in the harshest and most testing environments, zipping it up is like hanging a do-not-disturb sign over your face.
However, now large parts of the world are in self isolation. Cities are in lockdown, masks and isolation have become the norm, and their relaxation hoodies have taken on a new and unexpected life around the world, helping people chill out at home and head out on apocalyptic shopping trips.
